PROJECT COORDINATION INTERN

Do you have a keen interest in banking translation and are seeking to join a team of dynamic, experienced professionals driven by a desire to make Quebec a global hub for translation? We’re looking for resourceful, meticulous and motivate people for paid internships that will give you an opportunity to get started in the translation world.

We offer a structured working environment fostering knowledge sharing between colleagues and guidance. Our full-time internships last about 16 weeks and are available to students whose academic curriculum includes a credited internship.

AS A POJECT COORDINATION INTERN, YOUR DAILY ROUTINE WOULD CONSIST IN:

• Receiving, opening and assessing client requests.
• Assigning translation jobs to project managers based on the client allocation list.
• Preparing simple files and acting as a contact point for the support team when requests require more complex execution and planning.
• Carrying out simple post-processing and file reconversion operations.
• Delivering and closing projects.
• Producing, updating and forwarding statistical and ad hoc reports, as needed.
• Taking part in invoicing.
• Gathering, compiling, entering and updating client information in the operating systems.
• Occasionally managing projects.

THIS POSITION MIGHT BE IDEAL FOR YOU IF YOU:

• Are currently studying translation or management at a Canadian institution and have a credited internship as part of your program.
• Are looking for a structured environment to apply your skills and develop new ones.
• Are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Are naturally curious and have a knack for research.
• Want to work in a highly dynamic and tech-based environment.
• Love getting feedback and pushing your limits.
• Are proficient with translation assistance tools, such as Trados, LogiTerm and MultiTerm.
• Can handle tight deadlines.
