TRSB is seeking an IT systems administrator to ensure maximum availability of the firm’s high-performance computer network. You will also be called upon to provide technical support and ensure the operational stability and continuity of the technological infrastructure and applications for some 100 in-house users and numerous external suppliers.
Your mission:
- Ensure maximum availability of the firm’s IT infrastructure and applications
- Guarantee and maintain top-tier security for the firm’s IT infrastructure and applications
- Assist in defining corporate direction on IT use
- Define and parameter system and network performance dashboards
Your daily routine:
- Manage infrastructure components (e.g., servers, centralized storage, telephone system, mobile devices, firewall, centralized antivirus software, anti-spam software, printers, magnetic cards)
- Install, update, and upgrade IT infrastructure hardware and software
- Comply with change-management procedures and processes when implementing or modifying systems
- Use a variety of solutions to apply security policies and rules to applications and to LAN, WAN, and VPN connections
- Manage the backup procedure for IT infrastructure components
- Keep track of all computer hardware and licences, including maintenance contracts
- Provide escalated technical support to internal and external users
- Draft and update all relevant documentation
- Manage IT purchases and relations with IT suppliers
- Provide support outside of regular business hours on a rotating basis
You will need:
- Excellent proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Servers 2016/2019/2022, along with their main management tools (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, GPO, WSUS, DFS)
- Excellent knowledge of the VMWare vSphere environment (vCenter, ESXi, and Replication)
- Excellent knowledge of Exchange server
- Excellent knowledge of SAN infrastructures
- Excellent knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication
- Excellent knowledge of PRTG
- Good knowledge of VMware Horizon
- Good knowledge of Cisco network switches
- Good knowledge of VPN SonicWall firewalls
- VMWare, SonicWall certification (an asset)
- Microsoft MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, Cisco CCENT/CCNA certification (an asset)
- Experience with Acronis, SentinelOne, or Kantech products (an asset)
- Experience with the Avaya IP Office telephone system (an asset)
- Experience with Azure and Office365 (an asset)
This position may be ideal for you if you:

- Have at least five years’ experience in systems administration and technical support
- Are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
