INVOICING SPECIALIST

We are looking for an Invoicing Specialist to handle the firm’s accounts receivable operation. The incumbent will ensure proper invoicing and perform other general accounting tasks, such as collections.

AS INVOICING SPECIALIST, YOUR DAILY ROUTINE WOULD CONSIST IN:

Accounts receivable monitoring and invoicing (80%)

• Handling accounts receivable invoicing and act as a contact for problematic cases.
• Coordinating transactional invoicing, report production and the control process in a high-volume environment (12,000 transactions/month).
• Acting as the main contact for the management of specific or sensitive invoicing cases.
• Producing billable service analyses for the Sales team as part of the invoicing process.
• Providing support to the collections specialist for account receivable payments in the accounting system.
• Providing support to the collections specialist for account receivable collections.
• Contributing to the company’s management, efficiency and profitability.

Accounting duties (20%)

• Producing various accounting analyses pertaining to sales and accounts receivable.
• Supporting the Comptroller during the month-end process, specifically in closing invoices and communicating with clients.

THIS POSITION MAY BE IDEAL FOR YOU IF YOU:

• Hold a trade diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 in accounts receivable invoicing.
• Are proficient in advanced Excel features.
• Have proven strong communication skills with external clients and the in-house team.
• Have a keen analytical mind, as well as organizational and planning skills.
• Show an ability to solve problems and propose solutions.
• Are a meticulous and thorough self-starter.
