Traductions Serge Bélair Inc. (TRSB) is one of Canada’s largest translation firms. With an in-house team of over 350 experienced professionals based in the heart of Old Montreal’s business district, TRSB is a key partner and linguistic consultant for its clients.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
You will be required to perform a range of administrative tasks related to various areas, including, including accounting, general office administration and human resources.
You will have a hybrid work schedule (with at least two days spent at the office per week).
AS ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT, YOUR DAILY ROUTINE WOULD CONSIST IN:
Accounting duties (60%)
- Entering client invoices in the accounting system.
- Producing internal and external reports in Excel.
- Sending invoices to clients.
- Performing regular follow-ups with project managers.
- Responding to requests from internal and external clients by phone
Administrative support duties (10%)
- Providing administrative support to senior management.
- Providing administrative support to operations (e.g., reports, data entry).
Reception and office management duties (20%)
- Taking phone calls and greeting visitors.
- Coordinating office supply orders.
- Coordinating office space maintenance requests via a ticket system.
- Coordinating delivery logistics (requisitions, receiving and distribution).
- Organizing management members’ travel (e.g., hotel accommodations, air travel) and registering management members for various events (e.g., seminars, conferences).
- Ensuring that common areas are well organized and clean.
- Coordinating meal orders.
Human resources duties (10%)
- Assisting HR with the onboarding of new hires.
- Following up on applications for professional order accreditation.
- Following up on external training.
- Performing any other related tasks
THIS POSITION MAY BE IDEAL FOR YOU IF YOU:
- Have a vocational degree in accounting or a related field.
- Are familiar with the MS Office suite.
- Are bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Have two to three years’ experience in a similar office position.
- Are meticulous and thorough.
- Enjoy working in a high-volume (12,000 client invoices per month) and high-productivity environment.
- Work well in a team and are able to maintain efficient and harmonious interpersonal relations.
- Have good time and priority management skills
