ACCOUNTING CLERK

TRSB is looking for an accounting clerk who will be in charge of preparing customer invoices and handling accounts payable, based on internal management system data, in the accounting system. You will also periodically be required to send invoices, prepare internal and external reports, as well as respond to requests from both clients and TRSB’s Operations team

AS AN ACCOUNTING CLERK, YOUR DAILY ROUTINE WOULD CONSIST IN:

• Entering client invoices in the accounting system.
• Producing internal and external reports in Excel.
• Sending invoices to clients.
• Responding to requests from internal and external clients.
• Helping follow up on accounts receivable.
• Optional: Entering provider invoices in the accounting system.
• Optional: Paying provider invoices in the accounting system.
• Performing regular follow-ups with project managers.
• Performing other administrative tasks.

THIS POSITION MAY BE IDEAL FOR YOU IF YOU:

• Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies or Attestation of College Studies in accounting.
• Are familiar with Office Suite applications and electronic communication tools.
• Are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Have two to three years’ experience in a similar office position.
• Are detail-oriented.
• Like working with numbers.
• Enjoy working in a high-volume (12,000 client invoices per month) and high-productivity environment.
• Work well in a team and are able to maintain efficient and harmonious interpersonal relations.
• Have good time and priority management skills.
